Customer Experience Associate
The interview process was split into 3 tiers: Initial conversation with HR, 1.5 hour interview with direct managers, and a soft-skills assessment. The process went fairly quickly and I felt well informed throughout its entirety.
- Can you share an instance where you turned a frustrated customer's experience into a positive one?
Customer Experience Associate
I had a 15-minute phone screen with a service team member. He seemed bored and annoyed, and the interview felt very scripted with no follow-up questions. He just responded with "That sounds good" and moved on. The questions were outdated and not really tied to the role. He said they'd get back to me within a week, but they never did, which I expected. He also wished me luck, hinting I didn't get the job. I wouldn't have accepted anyway because I don't think I'd fit with a team that has bland, unfriendly personalities. He tried to seem social and interested, but it was really obvious he wasn't.
- What value would you bring to this company?
- What non-work related hobbies do you have that could be beneficial to the company?
Customer Experience Associate
The hiring process was super fast! I sent my resume and got an interview the same day. First, I had a call with the hiring manager, which I booked on Calendly. Then, I did a case study after the interview. Once they looked at my case study, I came in for an Immersion Day, which was awesome. The office and location are amazing (close to food, trains, and Madison Square Park!). I met everyone on the Customer Experience team, other staff, and even the CEO. Since I don't have much Customer Experience experience, it was great to shadow someone. I'm not sure why someone else didn't like the Immersion Day; Ollie is small, so fitting into the team and culture is key. The manager was upfront about the timeline and benefits the whole time. All my questions got answered. Oh, and I met lots of friendly dogs who are being fostered!
