The interview process for this role depends on location. It started with an online Hackerrank round, followed by two more rounds, and finally a managerial round if you cleared the previous ones. The Hackerrank round was fine. The second round had two interviewers who asked detailed Java questions and some about Ola's products. The interviewers were professional, and I advanced to the third round. Round 3 was with a manager who asked about OOPS basics. Then came a question about my origin, which seemed to disappoint him and led to a difficult 30 minutes where he even slept for 10. Questions included creating a third array from two given arrays and converting a string to an integer. Despite Ola claiming to be an equal opportunity employer, I experienced discrimination based on my location. When I told the HR, she seemed indifferent and suggested reapplying later. This kind of discrimination persists without being addressed.

This startup's interview process was badly managed. I passed all four technical rounds, each over an hour long. Then, I had a 10-minute call with a director who seemed to lack technical knowledge but pretended otherwise. He asked about REST API methods, and I explained GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, and HEAD with details, but he didn't know the HEAD method. Afterwards, HR said I was rejected in the director round. It's baffling how he could assess my skills in 10 minutes when four other panels tested and passed me. It felt very bad, highlighting the difference between MNCs and small startups.

Interview was scheduled for 2PM, but I was asked to arrive early. I got there 40 minutes ahead of time, but no one was there. At 2PM, I called the contact person, and they directed me to a meeting room. The interview took place in a hotel. It included one written test, followed by a review by three people. Then, there were three technical rounds, a QA Manager round, and finally, an HR interview.
