Product Manager
The interview process felt rushed, and I wasn't given much clarity on what the job would actually entail or who I'd report to. It would be better if they had a clearer process and team structure. The difficulty was average, and the interviewers seemed a bit inexperienced.
- Can you do a guesstimate on a generic topic?
- Tell me about the product life cycle.
- How do you approach agile management?
Product Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward. It involved three rounds of interviews that all happened within a single week. Everything was virtual and the interviews mainly focused on product cases and behavioral questions. What I noticed was that after the rounds were done, it was really hard to get an update on the outcome. It took the HR about 3 weeks to tell me I was getting an offer. To make matters worse, they offered a lot less than I expected, which made negotiating frustrating, especially since I had already set clear expectations before they even started the process.
- What steps would you take to enhance the experience for disabled individuals using Olacabs?
- In what ways could technology be used to substitute the sales staff at Ola experience centers?
Product Manager
After sending your CV, you'll get shortlisted for an initial one or two telephonic interviews. If you pass those, you'll move on to the remaining face-to-face rounds, totaling about 4 to 6 interviews overall. These include meetings with the hiring manager, an Engineering Manager, and other senior product people.
- Tell me about a product you really like and what improvements you'd suggest for it.
