Business Analyst
The interview is mostly about checking if you know the basics and fundamental stuff. It's a lot about thinking logically, solving problems, and how you approach things with clear, structured thinking. They want to see that you have a good grasp of the core subjects and can think critically and use what you know in real situations.
- Can you explain JOINS?
- What about Order Execution?
- Do you know Python, specifically Pandas?
Business Analyst
There were three rounds- First was a telephonic interview with basic SQL questions. Second, a technical round one to one with an interviewer covering resume, SQL, ML, and Excel. Third, a managerial round focusing on Key Performance Indicators and HR questions.
- Tell me about your resume.
- Can you answer some SQL questions?
- Do you have experience with ML?
Business Analyst
The interview went pretty smoothly, and the questions weren't overly difficult. There was a focus on unstructured market sizing through guesstimates, along with questions about Excel and SQL. Essentially, I was asked to write a SQL loop and then replicate that functionality in Excel using built-in formulas, excluding any macros.
- Could you estimate the number of flights arriving at Delhi airport daily?
- How would you write a loop in SQL?
- How can you implement the logic of a SQL loop in Excel using formulas, without using macros?
