Internal Auditor
Recruiter hit me up fast after applying. His calendar was super tight but he made time. I was told they're making ppl return to office and asked about relocating to CA for the job. Funny, I'm in another state with their office, which they don't really advertise, and they said I could work there even though the manager is in CA. Had two interviews that went great, but they ghosted me after. I felt like I had to chase them for the next round. Then I saw online you need manager and skip manager approval for PTO, which is wild. Thinking about their weird culture and strict PTO, I backed off, especially since better companies were calling. The recruiter eventually circled back saying the hiring manager decided the job MUST be in CA and asked about relocating again. Who wants to work for someone who changes their mind like that after agreeing to interview based on experience? I politely passed. I can tell they micromanage, have rigid office rules, and strict PTO policies.

Mobile Marketing Manager
The interview process started with a quick recruiter chat, then a call with the hiring manager, followed by a skip level with the director, and finally the CMO. Each of these calls were about 30 minutes. My experience had some hiccups, like phone connection problems during the recruiter call and an issue where my interview wasn't rescheduled due to a conflict. There was also a delay in receiving my written offer. Despite these issues, the recruiter kept me updated on the delays and was upfront about everything, and they were able to meet my desired compensation.

Customer Service Team Lead
My interview journey started with a recruiter call, which went really well. The recruiter was super friendly, professional, and kept me updated on everything. Next, I had a call with the team manager, who was also really nice, professional, and easy to chat with. Overall, the calls were great. But, honestly, the feedback I got about why I didn't move to the next stage left me pretty confused, especially considering my 10+ years of team leading experience and the 45-minute discussion about my passion for leading, developing, and growing teams. I'm still hoping to work at OKcoin in the future.

Product Designer
This design role interview process spanned a few weeks. The recruiter was really great at keeping me informed and was super supportive throughout, so I always knew what was happening next. The interviews for this role included an initial HR call, a meeting with the hiring manager, a virtual "onsite" which had 1:1 peer interviews, a formal presentation of my portfolio, and a whiteboarding session with a unique prompt, and then a final interview with a product lead. The recruiter and manager were very responsive and helpful before and after each step, providing timely feedback and letting me know what to expect. It was a positive experience overall!
