Had a Skype call with the professor who needed a grad student for his lab. They asked easy questions about my knowledge and background, and then technical questions about my research. They also asked why I wanted to join his team and the school, and what my life goals are.

So, there was one phone interview, and then two in-person interviews. They got back to me within a week. Everyone I met on campus and at the office was super nice. I would have loved to join the team, but some external factors played a role in my final choice.
