I found the job on the OfficeMax website and applied. The next day, I got a call from recruiting for a 30-minute phone interview. Right after that, I was scheduled for a second phone interview with HR. The questions were typical for managers, focusing on operations, staffing, and sales experience. Then I had a third interview with the district manager at the store I'd be managing, which was similar to the HR interview. The fourth interview was more relaxed, and within 30 minutes of finishing it, I was offered the job.

I first applied online and then got a call from HR for a quick screening. After that, the Store Manager interviewed me in person, and it went great. Then I got an offer via email and they asked for a background check. The background check took about a week, but the HR recruiter was super helpful and kept me updated. Overall, it was a really good and positive hiring experience.
