The interview had some basic questions, and it was pretty formal. The manager was really nice and knew their stuff. It didn't take too long. The only thing is, this place often doesn't have enough people working, and people tend to leave quickly.

The whole thing took about a month. I got calls from a few different places, one wanted me to work opening and closing shifts all weekend, which was a dealbreaker for me. The place I ended up going with had me do a quick interview after I chased them up about five times. Then they told me to get a drug test and basically offered me the job right after, as long as the test came back clean. It took about a week and a half for the results, which is pretty standard.

They asked all the standard questions about how you would react in different sales and customer service situations. The whole process felt pretty chill and enjoyable. I really liked that there weren't any group interviews. There were definitely a lot of questions asked, maybe more than needed, but I get why they screen so thoroughly. They're going to have you show how you'd sell something in the office to check your sales abilities and how well you communicate verbally.
