Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Office Depot.
Shift Supervisor
The interview process was well structured and felt very positive. The interviewers were kind and professional throughout. They were good communicators and seemed genuinely interested in my preferences, asking various questions about my likes and dislikes.
- Where do you envision yourself in five years?
Operations Manager
I filled out an online application and then got an assessment. My first interview was with two managers at the same time, and then I had a second interview with another manager. They made me an offer right after the second interview if they wanted to hire me.
- Why did you decide to apply to Office Depot?
- Can you describe your previous job experiences and specific situations you encountered?
Operations Manager
I had a full interview with the managers. There were some surveys about how I was feeling and my experience with the team. They wanted to know if I was interested in the process and if I could learn to follow the Standard Operating Procedures, and work within the store's hierarchy, and then the regional and district levels.
- What's your approach to dealing with customers who are dissatisfied with the service or staff?
