It was a standard sales interview. I had to meet with the hiring manager and complete an assessment. The whole thing took about an hour. It seems like a cool company with goals that are achievable. This role was for outside sales, specifically B2B.

It was pretty straightforward, starting with a quick phone chat with the recruiter. Then, they set up an in-person meeting at their office where I met with two Managers and the HR Manager. It all felt professional and well-organized. It was only later I learned the recruiter isn't always upfront and mainly focuses on their own recruiting goals rather than finding the right fit for the company's needs. My friend also got misled by the same recruiter regarding salary expectations for the role.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with a phone interview with the recruiter, followed by a second interview with the hiring manager. Then there was a thorough background check, so be ready to list every single one of your past jobs and how much you made at each, making sure everything is correct and within $500 of the actual amount.
