First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OEC Group.
Logistics Coordinator
The recruiter was always attentive and communicative. The only thing I'd identify as an area for improvement is giving the applicant proper and complete information on time and being more concise about the vacancy being applied for so there are no confusions during the interview.
- Can you describe a problem you encountered and how you resolved it?
Logistics Analyst
I went through 3 interviews. The first two went pretty well and I enjoyed them. The hiring managers and recruiter were great and accommodating. The second set of interviews with 2 new hiring managers felt more like an interrogation than an interview. They seemed to pick apart my current role's experience instead of just having a conversation to see if I was a good fit. I was excited to potentially work with OEC before the final round, but after it, I feel like I avoided a bad situation.
- Can you describe your daily tasks?
- Can you describe your experience?
- Can you walk us through your day?
Logistics Coordinator
I interviewed over the phone once. Then, I was asked to interview onsite, which I did. The following interview (3rd one) was via Zoom. I was told that I would hear back in one to two weeks. I have heard nothing from them. I'd be happy to get reject and just move on after so many interviews, but I got nothing. I would understand if I heard nothing back after the first application, but at least have the courtesy to email or call me after I've interviewed 3 total times. DO NOT APPLY OR WASTE YOUR TIME with OEC. Phone screened and 2 group panels.
