The hiring process for this Director role involves 4 interviews and moves at a pretty slow pace. They're actively recruiting for many director positions right now. While the compensation is on the lower side, the benefits are decent. Definitely try to negotiate your salary.

I was screened by an entry-level screener, then a recruiter, and then spoke with a VP. All of these were phone calls. The recruiter mentioned I had the exact background they were looking for. The VP was running late for our scheduled call, so we had to reschedule with the recruiter for two days later. The VP's assistant called me 10 minutes after the new scheduled time. The VP didn't apologize for being late. The VP had to end the call early to pick up his children from daycare, so I couldn't ask many questions. I got the impression there would be a next step, but the call didn't leave a good lasting impression. The VP didn't even give me his contact info to send a thank you. I emailed the recruiter for an update and was told they had moved on. I'm very disappointed with this organization, especially since it's supposed to be highly ranked in the region.

I was contacted by TA. Then had a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, it was an in-person interview with a panel of 5-8 directors. Then, an in-person interview with the VP. Following that, an in-person interview with the CNO. Next, an in-person interview with the MDs. Then, an in-person interview with staff. After that, an in-person interview with a support service panel of 3-5 people. An offer was sent after 3 days of interviews.
