Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The general interview process included an HR call, a hiring manager call, and a case study with team members. The tech and vision are very interesting (so far, the only scaled robotic company in the UK). However, the location and salary are not that great. They pay for a scale outside of London which is not ideal.

I applied online and a recruiter reached out to set up an interview. It was a really bad experience because I didn't even get to the interview. I would advise people to avoid this company.

Coding Technical Case Behavioral Presentation

The interview kicked off with a one-hour video technical interview. It included a straightforward computer science coding question and some technical queries on modeling, like time series models and modeling concepts for Ocado's specific scenarios. Following that was an on-site interview. This part involved a tour of the Ocado warehouse, a technical interview, lunch, and a culture fit chat. The technical interview was a live coding exercise where I had to analyze some data. The overall experience was smooth. The HR team was very helpful and friendly. My impression is that the team is quite skilled in computer science/engineering, but perhaps less so in modeling, which isn't necessarily a negative. However, considering the questions in the culture fit interview and the feedback received, I have serious doubts about the leadership team's integrity, which is definitely a major drawback. I'd still shop with them, but I wouldn't apply for a job there.
