Ocado Group Analyst Interview Questions
& Process

It was a 4 stage process. First, an HR interview call. Then, the first round was behavioural, with an analyst, and included a brain teaser. The second round was with the Manager and involved a business case on Excel. Finally, the third round was an interview with the Head of Analytics.

I applied for the job and heard back about a month later for an interview. The first interview was with two analysts and they asked me about my work experience, gave me some scenario brain teasers, and then a project to work on. I was happy to get a second interview the next day. The second interview was much harder, involving a forecasting challenge done live in front of the interviewers. They were not very helpful and told me I'd hear back in a week, but I never did after three months, which was very disappointing.

The interview process was not good and felt like a waste of time. The HR part was good, and they provided feedback. The first interview was with the hiring manager, which I passed. I expected to have interviews with higher-level managers, as is common in professional companies, but Ocado's process was the opposite. You have to go through 3 or more interviews, which doesn't make sense. I was interviewed by people with less experience than me, who were quite young and new to the company (less than 1 year of experience). It didn't seem like a professional process, and the questions asked were random and not significant.
