It was a three month long process with 4 stages. I first got a rejection, then a week later I got a verbal offer. Then they asked me to do a two day trial in the store. After that, they disappeared for a week and then told me the store manager position was on hold due to renovation delays at the Covent Garden store. This was actually due to salary issues, as the final offer was 3K less than what they initially promised, even though they asked about my salary expectations. The whole process, starting with the internal recruiter, was unprofessional and sketchy. It was a really bad experience.
