First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Oakley.
Store Manager
It was a three month long process with 4 stages. I first got a rejection, then a week later I got a verbal offer. Then they asked me to do a two day trial in the store. After that, they disappeared for a week and then told me the store manager position was on hold due to renovation delays at the Covent Garden store. This was actually due to salary issues, as the final offer was 3K less than what they initially promised, even though they asked about my salary expectations. The whole process, starting with the internal recruiter, was unprofessional and sketchy. It was a really bad experience.
- Can you discuss your past roles and your knowledge of KPIs?
Store Manager
The interview process was seamless, with three interviews in total. The recruiter, District Manager, and Regional Manager were all involved. I was notified very quickly of updates and everyone I encountered was extremely professional.
- Could you describe your management style?
Store Manager
The hiring process was great and efficient from beginning to end. There were no unexpected parts or lengthy interviews, and working with everyone was a fantastic experience. I was really impressed overall.
