Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Oakley.
Manager
It was easy and the people were friendly. All touchpoints were helpful and very informative. I really enjoyed it. The questions asked were about my personality, skills, past experience and my future goals.
- Can you describe your personality?
- What are your key skills?
- Could you share some of your past experiences?
Manager
The interview process is pretty chill and pretty standard. It's not like they're gonna throw you into some awkward, interrogative style interview. For the most part, the vibe is super relaxed and comforting. Don't stress if you don't know Oakley's products super well yet, they get that they're a bit pricey.
- Do you know Oakley's products?
Manager
It began with a recruiter call to schedule an interview with the hiring manager. After that, I had several interviews with a group of 2-4 people (panel interviews), which took place over two weeks. One of the panel interviews included lunch in the company's lunchroom with six other employees. I got the offer the following week over the phone.
- How would you respond if your business plan got rejected?
