Behavioral

I don't know why I keep applying at this place, they NEVER have their act together. Job descriptions never seem to match what they are actually looking for once you're on the phone for the screening and the recruiters always come off as inept, disorganized or in the latest case, kind of rude. The screening felt like an interrogation. Hard pass, three strikes, you are OUT Oak Street Health!

The recruiter reached out for an initial screening. After that, they told me I'd be coming in for in-person interviews. I talked with different managers and leaders one-on-one. The conversations helped me understand Oak Street Health's mission and vision better. I followed up after a few weeks, stayed in touch, and then got the offer. It was a good experience overall, and everyone I interacted with was professional. They made me want to work there!

Behavioral Technical Other

It was five rounds and took four months. Communication was limited about the timeline or any feedback. It seemed unorganized and like they were trying to appear like a legitimate business to justify their growth. The business itself seems interesting and could be fulfilling when speaking with non-HR people, but the HR process was a disaster.
