I met with the director at her office for about 15 minutes. She asked me some straightforward questions about teaching. She actually offered me the job right then and there.

It was a pretty confusing process. The interviews happen every two weeks, starting on Monday and ending on Wednesday. There were three actual interviews: first a group one, then one with the kids, and finally one with a Manager.

I had to go to the school to apply, and the application included basic questions along with riddles and other activities. A group interview with about 12 people happened two weeks later. We all took turns answering basic questions, and then we were split into groups to create a song or skit. The next day, I was invited to a second group interview with 6 people where we played board games with some school-aged kids who asked us questions while an employee watched. Then, two people at a time were called into rooms to either be interviewed by 3 kids with an employee observing or be questioned by three directors. The directors discussed salary, allowing us to decide whether to continue. I was invited to a third interview the following morning, but I declined.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Coming up with a song or skit in ten minutes is difficult because not everyone is on the same page. It was also surprising when the kids started interviewing us, but they mostly asked fun questions like what your favorite color is.
