So there were two phone interviews first, and after that, I had a face-to-face interview with two regional leaders. This part was all about competencies and I had to give a presentation on a plan I prepared beforehand. The final step was a sign-off interview at the Slough head office with a Territory Leader. O2 was amazing throughout the whole process, always keeping me in the loop and communicating professionally. Seriously, they set a great example for how to hire and attract leaders.

Applied online and then had to do an online assessment with 3 tests, which were pretty easy. After that, got an email to do a video interview online, which was basically recording myself answering some basic competency questions. Then had a phone interview and finally a face-to-face interview. The face-to-face interview involved a presentation about a struggling fake phone shop, using the provided info for a 15-minute presentation. The whole process took over 4 weeks, with long waits and little feedback in between. I didn't get the job after the face-to-face interview, which was surprising because I felt good about it and thought my experience was a good match. The interviewer talked a lot about the store and said I covered everything in my presentation. I know it's a competitive role, but after 5 weeks from applying, I got a generic rejection email. It's strange for a company that says they care about people to send such a basic email. The email said to contact them for feedback, but I've tried three times by email and phone with no response. It was a disappointing and unprofessional way to end the process, especially for a company with a big reputation.

So I applied online and then got an email to do this online assessment with 3 tests, which were pretty easy. After that, another email came asking me to do a video interview, just recording myself answering some basic questions. Then I had a phone interview, and finally, a face-to-face interview. For the main interview, I had to give a 15-minute presentation about a struggling phone shop, using the info they gave me. The whole thing took more than 4 weeks, with long waits and no feedback in between. I didn't get the job after the face-to-face, which was a surprise because I felt good about it and thought my experience was spot on. The interviewer went into detail about the store I might manage and even said they usually ask questions, but I covered everything in my presentation. I know it's a competitive role, but I was really disappointed to get a generic rejection email after 5 weeks. It's weird for a company that says 'all about their people' to send that. The email said to contact them for feedback, but I've tried three times by email and phone and heard nothing back. Really unprofessional and disappointing end, especially for a big-name company.
