I received multiple calls from a recruiter who didn't leave voicemails. When I finally answered, he mentioned he'd been trying to reach me. I questioned why he didn't leave a message, and he ignored it. He then sent a link for references, which I didn't complete. The district manager, who knew one of my coworkers, called them to ask about me. I found this highly unprofessional since I hadn't even had a formal interview yet, and this coworker wasn't on my referral list. This created an uncomfortable work environment without my consent. I withdrew my application due to this poor experience. I called to express my dissatisfaction, but the recruiter seemed unconcerned. The next day, I got another call with no voicemail. I returned the call, and the hiring manager canceled our scheduled interview due to a scheduling conflict. I informed him I had withdrawn my application and was unaware of any scheduled interview. Their recruitment process is disorganized and unprofessional, which was a complete turn-off, and I'm glad I avoided this job.

The interview process felt pretty laid back. The first meeting was at a Panera, and the second one was at a diner. The person interviewing me didn't have a set list of questions, but they were jotting things down in a notebook.

I sat in a conference room with the regional and district manager for a pretty long interview. They asked a bunch of behavior-based questions that seemed like standard company ones. We then negotiated a salary, which was the starting point because the regional director rejected my higher salary request.
