Had an initial chat via LinkedIn on webcam which went well. Then had a second interview with the general director in the U.S. via webcam, which also seemed positive. Months passed and then silence, despite my emails and requests for feedback. Even the initial recruiter disappeared and stopped responding to emails and calls.

I applied through a job board and then directly on the company's website. First, I had a phone screen with an offsite HR recruiter who was really nice. Then, a week later, I was scheduled for an onsite visit with HR and the Operations Manager. I got there early, but the HR Manager showed up 10 minutes late, which was a bit of a red flag. The HR Manager seemed uninterested and barely spoke, while the Operations Manager was very pleasant. The Operations Manager said they'd get back to me within a week for a second interview with the team. After a week, I followed up with the offsite recruiter. A few days later, I got an email saying they were moving on with other candidates. I then reached out directly to the Operations Manager three weeks later, offering to meet for lunch and revisit the position since I saw the same Maintenance Manager posting and several other maintenance roles reposted. It seems like they let go of all their maintenance managers, another red flag. He never responded, but the offsite HR recruiter emailed again saying they were considering other candidates. The onsite HR manager still wouldn't talk to me directly, which was odd. I agreed with their decision, honestly, because I also noticed they have too many communication issues and a lot of staff turnover.

The people I talked to were really nice, and the recruiter kept me in the loop. The only downside was that it took more than two months to finish everything.
