So, I went through 2 rounds of interviews, submitted work samples, and provided references, but then I got ghosted. A whole month went by after sending references and I heard nothing back. I tried reaching out to the interviewers directly, but still no response. The first interview was with a Unit Head and it was behavioral, including a scenario question. The second interview was with another Unit Head and some higher-ups, and it was all behavioral and pretty straightforward. After that, they asked for three work samples and three references. Looks like they just ghosted me. They also seemed pretty disorganized. Like, after the first interview, they invited me for the second round the same night with a few time options. I picked a time for the next week. On the day I picked, I thought it was canceled, but then I got an email confirming it a few hours before. They said it was due to 'technical difficulties.' Just be prepared to be ghosted, even if they ask for references.

I went through the interview process twice, for two different divisions. First, I applied online with my cover letter and resume and got contacted for an interview pretty quickly, within a week or two. The first interview was with a panel of 3-4 supervisors, and then I had a second interview the same week with their manager. The interviews were very standard, asking about my past work, education, and skills. However, after the second round, they never got back to me and didn't reply to my follow-up emails, which was frustrating since I'd met with them twice. Even though I had a good first impression of the office and the people were nice and professional, it was disappointing that they didn't even send a rejection notice, especially after I tried following up multiple times.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. I had an initial chat with two supervisory analysts, then met with the Unit Head, followed by a meeting with the Assistant Director. They asked some basic questions about my strengths and weaknesses. After that, I was asked to provide writing and Excel samples.
