It was a group interview where I met with a group of interviewers who asked me about my experience. Then the Head of Department in Nursing joined and took over the interview, talking up the hospital and trying to see how interested I really was. After thanking me, I was asked to wait in a computer room with others until someone escorted me to HR for onboarding. I didn't even know I got the job until I asked HR if that's why I was there.

The interview process involved meeting knowledgeable senior staff members. I had the chance to tour the hospital and meet various team members from different disciplines. Overall, it was a positive experience. They answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. There seem to be many openings. The staff was friendly.

you will meet with a charge nurse, a nurse supervisor, and an educator. They want to gauge your long term commitment. Before you meet them, you will interview with a "recruiter" who will ask you simple questions like "why this hospital", "can you work any day of the week?", "tell me about yourself" - very easy and she is very nice. The interviewers on the Emergency Department is a hit or miss (they can be very nice or very mean). There are some clinical questions - go over stroke and MI. You will also be asked for a math question (on another day, after you pass the interview).

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • Could you introduce yourself?
  • What is your desired tenure at this facility?
  • Are you considering other employment opportunities?
