The interview was conversational and not like an interrogation. I interviewed with three people who were all warm and welcoming. The hiring process was lengthy because they want candidates who are serious about becoming a project manager and are willing to be trained for it. My honesty about my life goals might be why I didn't get the position, but career-wise, I want to be a project manager in the construction industry, and unfortunately, that wasn't a risk they were willing to take. So, if you want this position, don't let them know you have personal goals like being a real estate developer. Learn from my mistake.

I met the recruiter at a job fair and they were great. We talked about the opportunities and I gave them my resume. I also applied online using my college's portal and heard back about an interview. I had that interview and it went well. It wasn't too hard but the interviewer was in a rush and I wasn't sure how I did. I heard back from them and they wanted me to come into the office. There I met with the project supervisor and branch manager and they told me about the position and offered it to me. I ended up accepting and it was a great experience.

First, there was a 20-minute phone interview. The next day, I got an email from the interviewer to schedule an in-person 'panel' interview. Before that, I had to complete an online psychological exam (45 mins) and a reasoning/aptitude test (30 mins). The in-person interview took 3 hours and involved meeting with 2 hiring managers. They asked STAR and general background questions.
