Production Supervisor
I sent in my application online and heard back about two weeks later by email to set up a phone chat. After waiting a week, I had my phone interview, which lasted about 20 minutes. A couple days later, I got another email saying I'd be meeting with three managers and also needed to complete two online surveys. Two weeks after that, I had the interviews with the managers – they were pretty long, three in total, but honestly, it wasn't stressful at all. They really just want to see if you're a good fit for the job. My recruiter was super nice from the start and made things really smooth. The managers were also really great and made the interview process enjoyable.
- Can you share an instance where you successfully facilitated collaboration between colleagues or classmates who were at odds with each other? What steps did you take, and what was the result?
Production Supervisor
The first interview was a phone call with easy questions about interests and background. Then, for the in-person rounds, I met with three people: two product managers and a regional manager. Most of the questions were behavioral and not too hard. The PMs were good, knowledgeable, and friendly. However, their manager wasn't great. It felt like he'd already decided who to pick before I even got there. He seemed uninterested and impatient, and was actually rude. I ended up saying I didn't think this was the right place for me and left early. I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone because of his attitude. Nobody should have to work for a boss who creates a culture of disrespect and discouragement.
- Do you know what our stock price was today?
Production Supervisor
I applied for the job through my university's career center. About two weeks later, a recruiter reached out for an initial interview. This first interview was about 30 minutes long and focused on behavioral questions, like talking about times I've led people and what my weaknesses are.
- Can you tell me about your leadership experiences?
- What are your personal weaknesses?
