The interview process was straightforward. The recruiter was excellent and provided a clear overview of the process and what to expect. They were quick to respond and extended an offer promptly. They were also understanding when I decided to decline it.

I talked to a recruiter first, and she made sure I was a good fit for the job and told me about what the day-to-day sales job is like. Then, I moved on to the next round where I met with the regional sales manager. During our video call, he actually picked up his phone twice. He seemed totally uninterested in me the entire time and was really rude and didn't seem to care.

The recruiter seemed impatient with my responses, stating it was to ensure I didn't run out of time. I inquired about the hiring timeline, and the recruiter mentioned they would communicate by day's end via text for an offer or email if not. I didn't hear back by Friday, so I emailed for an update. A few hours later, I received a generic rejection email stating they had found other candidates. This company frequently reposts jobs, suggesting high turnover and potentially subjective hiring decisions based on personal preference rather than objective qualifications. I highlighted my previous success in business development with a high close rate, which was impacted by poor management in a prior call center role. Curiously, after the interview, I received an alert about a visit to my realtor listing, which seems unrelated to this sales position, as do my other licenses in health insurance and cosmetology.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • They asked a lot of questions on the application, then a form after the application phase, and then during the interview itself. I suspect they are trying to make the job seem more exclusive than it is, and I don't think they're clear on what they're looking for in a candidate. It felt like a complete waste of time, just like another job offer!
  • This job is another offer!
