First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nuvia Dental Implant Center.
Consultant
The interview process was great to be honest. They were very quick to respond and upfront about what next steps would be if they felt you were a good fit. A little quick for someone who may be used to a longer drawn out timeline. The video chats were very laid back with plenty of time to get clarification on the expectations of what the role would entail. The hiring managers were very open with their answers and were very communicative even after the "formal" video interviews were done. Overall, a great experience.

Sales Consultant
The interview process consisted of three 30-minute virtual interviews and a meet the team session. Initially, I spoke with the recruiter, then the regional manager, and finally one of the VPs of sales. These virtual meetings were positive, with good dialogue and a relaxed vibe, making Nuvia appear like an appealing workplace. However, the experience shifted during the final stage, the in-person team meeting in San Diego. I met the general manager, who was great, and some of the Doctors from the office. They were all wonderful to interact with and heightened my enthusiasm for the role. This positive impression diminished when I encountered the traveling sales consultant currently working in that office, who was involved in the final hiring decision. This conversation became extremely uncomfortable due to highly unprofessional remarks. It began with him calling a VP of sales a derogatory term, which he then dismissed as a joke, leaving me feeling very awkward. He also took a personal call during our discussion, citing a wife's emergency, which turned out to be her uncertainty about a potential scam caller. Following this, he inquired about my marital status when I asked about setting myself up for success in the job, and upon learning I wasn't married, suggested I 'get a group of friends together and go talk to girls at the bar.' This statement caused significant discomfort due to its lack of professionalism. I received a rejection email the next day. When I followed up with the recruiter, she stated that the consultant and regional manager did not feel the desired 'connection.' While I hope this doesn't deter others from applying, as the rest of my interactions were fantastic, be aware of a potentially uncomfortable and unprofessional experience if this employee is still present. I am relieved I did not receive the job offer after this encounter.

Office Assistant
The interview process involves three distinct interviews with three different people. The questions asked are pretty standard. You'll be asked about your strengths and weaknesses, and why you're interested in working here. The interviews are not lengthy. Just make sure to review your work history and prepare your common interview responses.

Inside Sales Representative
The recruiter seemed impatient with my responses, stating it was to ensure I didn't run out of time. I inquired about the hiring timeline, and the recruiter mentioned they would communicate by day's end via text for an offer or email if not. I didn't hear back by Friday, so I emailed for an update. A few hours later, I received a generic rejection email stating they had found other candidates. This company frequently reposts jobs, suggesting high turnover and potentially subjective hiring decisions based on personal preference rather than objective qualifications. I highlighted my previous success in business development with a high close rate, which was impacted by poor management in a prior call center role. Curiously, after the interview, I received an alert about a visit to my realtor listing, which seems unrelated to this sales position, as do my other licenses in health insurance and cosmetology.
- They asked a lot of questions on the application, then a form after the application phase, and then during the interview itself. I suspect they are trying to make the job seem more exclusive than it is, and I don't think they're clear on what they're looking for in a candidate. It felt like a complete waste of time, just like another job offer!
- This job is another offer!
