Account Executive
The interview process had about 3 rounds, which is pretty average. It started with a phone screening with the recruiting director. Then, I talked to the VP of Technical Support, who created the training program and has an education background. He just wanted to see if I had a basic grasp of social media. The last interview was with the VP of Account Support. She's been here since the beginning and expects respect. This interview was more about whether I'd be a good fit for the team. They asked general questions about me and my experience, and they're really looking for someone with a sales personality who can upsell. They want someone young who's willing to start at a low salary right after school.
- Are you a competitive person, as we are looking for highly competitive people who are driven to sell?
Account Executive
The interview process involved multiple interviews, ultimately leading to meeting the CEO. It began with a conversation with the talent specialist, who might then schedule a follow-up interview. The job offer was extended via email.
- How would you handle reporting to someone younger and less experienced than you?
Senior Account Executive
Had a phone interview, then went in person. Then I went back for two more onsite interviews, meeting different people each time. They asked general questions about my background and sales experience, including my history selling software and my work ethic.
- What is it about you that makes you stand out?
- Can you tell me about your background?
- Can you walk me through your sales experience?
