I had a phone screen, then another phone interview. After that, they gave me a design challenge to do. I turned that in about a week later, and then they set up a full day of in-person interviews at their office. I met with development managers from different departments one-on-one. I spent an hour with the main hiring manager, and 45 minutes with everyone else. There was also a 45-minute lunch with someone who might be on my team. They asked mostly technical questions, but they also cared about cultural fit, so they asked a lot of questions to figure that out too.

Overall, this was an excellent and exceptionally positive interview process, probably the best I've experienced. NuVasive managed it efficiently and professionally. It began with a phone chat with HR (about 30 minutes) where they asked general questions about my background and resume. Following that, there was a 3-day design challenge. After completing the challenge, I had a technical Skype interview to discuss my design (around 1 hour). The final stage was an all-day onsite interview, from 9 am to 2 pm, involving meetings with several hiring managers and engineers. It was demanding but also quite engaging. The entire process provided a really good insight into the job's demands, the team members, and the company's culture.

It was tough but fair. Started with a technical interview, then some "fluff" talk from Sr. Management. They asked a lot about WPF/MVVM, had me write a little program to show MVVM, and then work through a buggy program to fix the issues.
