Behavioral

The interview process was fast and direct. I met the team members in person, no video calls. They were looking for someone who is a hard worker and can be a team player. It was clear that the team is very close and committed.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with a 30-minute recruiter call, which was a standard phone screen. I was told to be mindful of my voice cadence because the recruiter uses basic psychological cues to assess honesty, which I found to be an unethical interviewing approach. The second interview went well, and I passed some information to the TM. The TM texted me to schedule a meeting, but after I replied, I never heard back. I eventually received an automated rejection from NuVasive. While I'm not upset about not getting the offer, I am disappointed by the unethical lack of feedback and response from the team. Candidates invest time in interviewing and preparing, so a simple, genuine response back is the least expected. It's fortunate Globus acquired them; hopefully, their more ethical employees will improve NuVasive's culture.

Behavioral Other

I applied online through the NuVasive website, then had a phone interview with a recruiter. After that, there was a phone call with reps, followed by a video interview with HR. Then a video interview with the sales director, and finally an in-person visit to the territory to interview and meet everyone in person.
