Quality Engineer
The interview process was really smooth. The talent team's communication and the receptionist's welcome were great. I met with the hiring manager and some of her team members. It felt like a friendly chat that turned into a Q&A session where I could ask questions too. For most of the interview, I got to share detailed info about my past work. Then, we looked at technical drawings to see if I could read them correctly.
- What sparked your interest in NuVasive and how did you find out about us?
- Could you describe your greatest strengths and weaknesses?
- What are your aspirations for the near future and the long term?
Quality Engineer
I went through 7 interviews for an entry-level role and haven't heard back since, even after reaching out for an update. I had interviews both in person and via zoom, with people both locally and overseas. Several interviewers who were scheduled to meet with me were swapped out last minute, and one interview had to be moved on the day itself because the interviewer had a scheduling conflict. The callbacks took way longer than they initially stated for each interview.
- Thinking about your previous interview experiences, what aspects of this job do you anticipate enjoying, and what might present challenges for you?
Quality Engineer
NuVasive's interview process is pretty standard. Usually, it's two phone calls and an onsite interview. For me, it ended up being three phone calls and one onsite. The first call was with HR. The second was with a Sr. Quality Engineer or Quality Engineer. The onsite involved meeting three people from the team. The third phone call, in my case, was with the Director of Quality.
- Could you share your strengths and weaknesses and provide the reasoning for each?
