First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NuVasive.
Manager
The interview process started with a phone screen, then a phone interview with the hiring manager, and finally a 5-hour onsite interview. After the onsite, one of the interviewers walked me out, but I never heard back from the recruiter. I didn't even get a notification that the position was filled. I found this to be disrespectful to someone who invested over 5 hours at Nuvasive. A simple email or phone call would have been appreciated.
- What were your thoughts on working extended hours for long periods?
Senior Manager
The interview process was great overall. The HR lead kept me updated constantly, usually checking in within 48 hours. I spoke with 7 people in total, including 4 peers, the HR Lead, the HR Site Lead, and the Site Leader. Everyone was respectful of my time and the process was efficient. There were a number of behavioral questions that focused on NuVasive's 9 core competencies.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Manager
Had a phone screen first, then went in for on-site interviews where I met with 1-2 people at a time. After that, there were follow-up phone calls with more interviewers. The interview day also included a plant tour and ran from 10 am to 2 pm with a short break.
