It was a super straightforward interview for a new grad RN in a med surg unit as part of their residency program. The hiring manager and assistant manager did the interview over Zoom. They asked really basic questions and were pretty laid back. I got the job offer about two days later.

The interview process felt unusual. There wasn't clear information about available shifts or which units were hiring. I was told the two nurse managers would assess my personality to determine the best floor placement for me. The interviewers were pleasant, but I finished with a lot of unanswered questions about the actual job offerings.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • What is your specific interest in Danbury hospital?
  • What unique contributions would you make to the unit?
  • Describe a past experience of workplace conflict with either patients or colleagues and how you managed it.
