Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NUS Consulting Group.
Energy Consultant
The first interview was normal. I'm not sure why we didn't move forward. I never got any feedback. The job has been open for a long time, which is odd if they can't find someone.
- Tell me about your current role.
Energy Consultant
It was a pretty straightforward process. I went into their office and met with the hiring manager for a one-on-one chat. After the interview, the interviewer didn't even bother to email me to let me know I didn't get the job, even after I sent two follow-up emails. It really shows the hiring manager's professionalism. If I take a day off to meet with you, the least you could do is inform me of the outcome. Glad I didn't get the job, I would have hated working for someone like that.
- Questions were focused on how you assist clients.
- Can you share your experience with customer service?
- Describe your problem-solving approach when dealing with clients.
Energy Consultant
It was a pretty informal and relaxing interview process, I actually enjoyed it and felt very comfortable. They gave a brief overview of the position and asked some questions about my previous experience in the utility sector. They also provided an overview of the company and what they do.
- What's your general knowledge about energy?
- Could you tell us about your past experience in the utility sector?
- Can you give us an overview of the company's operations?
