Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Numerator.
Research Associate
After clearing the first stage, I was interviewed for a Research Associate role at the Vadodara office. The interview was conducted by team leader Faisal and Avni and lasted over 20 minutes. I felt I answered most questions well, but haven't received any performance-based feedback. The whole selection process felt lacking in transparency and merit, so I wouldn't recommend it for external candidates, though it might be fine for internal referrals.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
Research Associate
Applied and heard back after two weeks, and my interview was scheduled for another week after that. After speaking with a recruiter I was invited to do two assessments, one for personality and another for aptitude. They gave me a few days to prepare. After another week, I interviewed with the hiring manager and was asked to complete a case study. They gave me a few days to complete that as well. After a week of deliberation, I completed a final interview which was initially set to be done with a panel, but it ended up just being one of the team managers. After another week, I was told that I did not get the job, but that they were considering me for another position. I then interviewed with a recruiter in that department, but was told after a few days that they would rather have someone in office instead of remote. Total emotional roller coaster.
- Have you programmed surveys before?
Research Associate
The interview process had four stages. First, there was an aptitude test and a behavioral test. Second, HR conducted follow-up calls and discussions. Third, a technical round focused on survey programming assessments for those applying for survey programmer roles. Fourth, a panel interview took place with the hiring manager and a technical person.
