Product Manager
Standard phone screen. The salary was lower than expected for a senior PM, especially one specializing in AI/ML. The interviewer spoke very quickly and didn't allow sufficient time for me to understand and take notes. It felt like being herded like cattle through their system.

Technical Product Manager Intern
So, first there was an online IQ test, then there were 3 rounds of interviews. The first was a phone call with the recruiter. After that, there was a 1:1 zoom interview with the direct supervisor. Finally, there was a 3:1 zoom interview with the supervisor and other team members.
- What is your SQL experience level?
Product Manager
The hiring process was really smooth and easy. It began with a phone chat with the recruiter. Then, I had an aptitude test, which was actually kind of fun because they give you an app to practice with. After that, I had one virtual interview with the hiring manager and an engineer, then a case study, and finally 3 to 4 virtual interviews with other team members. The case study was to see my PM skills, and most of the interviews were more about seeing if I'd fit in with the team. The recruiter and hiring manager were super helpful and clear about everything.
- Describe how you'd manage engineers who are perfectionists.
- Can you explain your entire process for a product idea, from the very beginning to its launch?
