First there was an online interview, then I had an in-person interview at the call center's back offices. I was interviewed by two really nice people who made an effort to keep things relaxed and comfortable. The interview room itself was in pretty bad shape though - the lights needed new bulbs, the walls were plain white and bare, there were no windows, and it was generally dirty.

I went in and met with a manager and team lead in the call center. When I went in we talked for a bit, they introduced themselves and we all talked for a bit about the job requirements. They asked me a few questions about who I was and what I would add to the community in the call center, and then had me try to upsell something so they could see how well I could do. After that it was adjusting my upsell to something more applicable to the company. The last part of the interview was if I had any engagements so we could plan my schedule around it accordingly.

First, you gotta record yourself talking in both Mandarin and English. If they dig your vibe, they'll set up an interview. If they're still feeling it after that, you'll get an offer.
