Java Developer
The interview process was easy and friendly with a nice atmosphere and easy questions. There were multiple stages of interviewing with HR, technical, and a Product Owner over two months. The atmosphere was relaxed. The next interview focused on soft skills.
- Tell me about your experience with Java.
- Can you describe your knowledge of Spring?
- What is your experience with SQL?
Senior Java Developer
Initially, I was told there would only be 2 interviews. The first was technical, covering Java, Spring Boot, unit testing, encryption, etc. The second was a management interview to assess how I handle certain situations. After passing both, the recruiter mentioned the hiring manager wanted to speak with me personally after reviewing my CV. So, I had a third interview. It seemed from the start the manager was looking for a reason to reject me. He initially said it was just to get to know me and wouldn't be technical, but gradually he started asking more technical questions. He began with my experience and project details, eventually asking about Java's garbage collection and memory management. While I understand these are important, they weren't relevant to the interview, and I didn't know the answers. He found his excuse to end the process. I asked for feedback, but none was provided.
- Tell me about annotations in Spring Boot.
- What are your thoughts on encryption algorithms?
- Can you explain your experience with unit testing?
Full Stack Java Developer
The interview was pretty easy, with two rounds. They asked common questions about Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, with a focus on practical application. The interviewer was really calm and helped rephrase the questions when needed.
- What are your thoughts on Java and its applications?
- Can you explain your experience with Spring Boot?
- What do you know about microservices architecture?
