First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NTT DATA.
Analista Júnior
I had the chance to interview with NTT Data and found it to be a really valuable experience. The chat was professional yet friendly, and they really emphasized their focus on tech innovation and how important teamwork is. It gave me a better understanding of their company culture and the different projects they work on, and also made me think about how my skills could contribute. It definitely left me feeling motivated and excited about the possibility of joining a global company that's all about digital solutions.
- What role do you typically play within a work group?
Business Analyst
So the interview process with this global IT-services and consulting firm headquartered in Japan involved a recruiter call, then a technical interview, and finally a team leader interview. We had teams calls with the recruiter, followed by case studies and scenario questions, and the team leader interview also involved case studies, all done via teams calls.
- Can you tell me about the most difficult business rule or process you created? What were the obstacles, what did you do, and what happened in the end?
Business Analyst
My interview process began with a first-round call scheduled by a recruiter, who is part of the Team (VC). The interviewer, who appeared middle-aged, didn't formally introduce himself and immediately started asking questions without acknowledging my resume. He seemed to be in a bad mood and kept asking the same questions. I answered questions about the Business Analyst profile. He seemed surprised by my experience with 50+ e-commerce deliveries over my 10-year IT career. I ended the call after 10 minutes because it was too difficult to continue and informed the recruiter. I was left with a negative impression of NTT Data's interview process.
- What are your methods for identifying stakeholders?
