I interviewed with the President for the Business Management Training Program. Although things didn't work out logistically, I'm grateful I had the chance to meet him and experience the culture he has created. The President Rafael is a genuine and driven man who encourages others to set their sights on the future. He has excellent communication skills and strives to understand the workings of the products his company markets to ensure they have the greatest representation possible. His experience is reflected in the way he carries himself and I hope to work with him at some point down the road.

The first interview was with the President of the company and it was a brief overview of the company and its clients. The president was polite and understanding and conducted the interview professionally. Then there was an observation day with the top reps to ensure the interviewee is in good hands. The observation day was longer than most but interesting to watch! A short third round interview happened later in the day of the observation day if the interviewee was successful. I loved my interview process because the company likes to show exactly what they do so you know what your position entails! Positive experience!

It was a 2-day interview process. The first day was a quick 10-minute in-person chat. The second day was the real challenge, lasting the entire day. The manager had me and some other candidates shadow a group leader at a mall, basically selling products to people passing by. Throughout the day, the group leader gave us tasks to do while standing. We had to list 20 of our pros and cons, describe what makes a great leader, and suggest improvements to our sales process. The most difficult part was a 1.5-hour task after lunch, where we were expected to create a business plan for one year aiming for a 1 million gross profit, including detailed financial figures. It was strange because the job description said 'no experience' was needed, making it hard to create such a detailed business plan without any business background.

I got to the Logan Square office 10 minutes before my interview with the President. The interview started 5 minutes late, which was fine. It was a quick 15-minute chat about the company and how it's organized. Since I wasn't totally clear on the job duties, I asked the president a bunch of questions, and he was really open and helpful. He called me later that day for a second interview the next day. When I arrived in the morning, the office was busy and seemed pretty modern and relaxed. I then went to an event about 30 minutes away with the assistant manager. At the event, they explained the event structure and how they work, and I had to do some 'tests' throughout the day. It was exciting because everyone seemed to be having a good time and the event was well-organized. At the end of the day, I had a third interview with the president. This was this week, and I'm still waiting to hear back, but I'm hopeful.
