Had an interview with the hiring manager and a team member. It was a good interview overall, not stressful. Mostly competency questions, and some people had to do a presentation. There was also a data analysis skills test where I had to analyze data and present the findings.

Applied online, then had a numerical reasoning test before the interview. The interview was standard, lasted 1 hour, and had 2 people on the panel. They said I'd hear back in 1-2 weeks but after 3 weeks I had to chase HR. They said they'd get back to me but I heard nothing. I'd heard bad things about Npower before, but I was really interested in the role so I applied and did the assessments and interview anyway. Eventually, 5.5 weeks after the interview, I got an email saying I was unsuccessful. Luckily, I'd already been offered a better job. I think it's poor they don't get back to you properly considering the time you spend applying. Well done Npower, you were shocking as an energy provider and as an employer!

It was pretty standard. Two people were on the panel. One of them was kinda nice and helped me relax, but the other wasn't. When I was answering the competency questions, she challenged me, saying my answers didn't line up with my CV. I told her my experiences were really diverse and I couldn't fit it all on my CV. I really wanted to say that the questions didn't specifically ask me to stick to my CV, they were just 'Tell me a time when...'. She just made me feel weird after that.
