Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a standard panel interview with two AP supervisors and a consultant. They asked about my background and AP knowledge relevant to the role. Since they use Excel a lot, I did an Excel presentation. Then, another interview was set up with the AP manager.

Technical Behavioral

I applied online. Had a phone screen that included a technical skills test. Then there was a panel interview. The recruitment process was quick and I was able to ask my questions. Aside from the skills test, the questions weren't that tough. HR asked a lot about my current pay (salary, bonus, etc.) instead of just asking about fair negotiation and salary expectations. They asked for this info directly even when I tried to deflect, and they insisted all negotiations had to happen before a formal offer was extended. Both of those felt like red flags. Also, a minimum of three references have to complete an online questionnaire, which puts the responsibility on the candidate to get this done rather than the company chasing the references.

Behavioral Technical Group

The interview process was terrible. The phone screen was fine and led to an onsite interview. The team members didn't seem enthusiastic about their work and didn't give good answers about the company culture. When I asked a director about his team and their work, he was dismissive and said his title was all I needed to know. Another director crossed items off my resume when I mentioned experience but not expertise. HR also didn't reimburse travel expenses. It was just a really bad experience overall.
