Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Novant Health.
Secretary
I interviewed for a Secretary/NA I role in Critical Care, but they asked if I'd prefer to interview for a Behavioral Health position. They set up an interview for the next day with the Clinical Nurse Lead. The interview focused on my crisis management skills, how I handle workplace issues, and my motivation for joining the company.
- What skills have you acquired from your experience?
Administrative Assistant
The internal interview process for moving roles within the company uses the same set of questions. Primarily, they are assessing your reasons for wanting to transfer internally. You'll be asked from a prepared list of questions. Sometimes supervisors and managers will be in the same interview to be more efficient. Most interviews are behavioral.
- What prompted you to leave your previous role?
Administrative Assistant
The whole process took about 2 months from start to hiring. They then told me they had to follow new HR rules and couldn't consider candidates previously selected. I'd be careful if you're thinking of interviewing there. It was a big waste of my time.
- What is your weakness?
