Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Notch.
Account Executive
First I talked to Talent Acquisition. Then I met with the team lead, and finally the hiring manager for the team. We talked about skills and experience I have now, my weaknesses, and my 5-year career goals.
- How do you find new sales prospects?
Account Executive
The HR team was great and kept me in the loop. However, when I met the teammates, it seemed like they got promoted just by being there at the right time. I didn't get the job, and later saw they hired people who looked similar but had less experience. The base pay is low. I'd suggest this place for entry-level folks new to tech.
- Tell me about your most challenging or most rewarding sale.
Account Executive
I had several conversations with the Talent lead, the Hiring Manager, the Sales and Ops team, and the CEO. The team is really smart and passionate about the industry, and it's clear they're driven for the company's success. They were open about their go-to-market strategies and made sure I understood what to expect in a startup environment.
- Can you share an example of how you handled an internal conflict and the result?
- Given you just joined, how would you go about learning about the team?
