First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Notable Health.
Software Engineer
First, there was a phone screen. Then, a LeetCode-style technical test online. After that, several onsite technical interviews happened in San Mateo. Some questions I asked during the interviews seemed concerning. The office atmosphere also felt quite tense; people weren't interacting much. I didn't get an offer, but later learned from some team members that two interviewers had quit and others were planning to leave. Definitely a close call.

Marketing
I was contacted by their HR team via email with a series of automated follow-ups. I then had a 30-minute introductory call with the team lead. The conversation felt a bit awkward and the questions were asked in a very direct, almost aggressive manner. It seemed like they were trying to understand how I would address their current challenges, like asking about product pricing strategies, rather than focusing on my skills and experience for the role. There were only two minutes left for my questions, which aligns with what other candidates have mentioned. The lead also mentioned that they had recently demoted the person initially hired for this position, framing it as an indicator of the company's high standards. A week later, I got a generic rejection email. I didn't receive a response when I asked for feedback on areas for improvement. The overall experience felt more like an information-gathering session than a genuine job opportunity.

Account Based Marketer
I had a super positive interview experience with Notable. The process took about 4 weeks and was pretty standard. It included a recruiter call, a meeting with the hiring manager, a virtual on-site interview, and then a final interview. The recruiter I worked with was honestly one of the best I’ve ever encountered. She was responsive, transparent, and led with a ton of kindness and excitement. You could tell they genuinely cared about making the experience a good one for candidates, which is rare to find in tech companies that are scaling fast. Although I ended up accepting another offer, I left with a really positive impression of the company. It was clear that the head of marketing is super sharp & has a strong vision and strategy. I’m excited to see how they build and grow the team.
- Can you describe how you've collaborated with Sales to develop and implement ABM initiatives?
Product Manager
It was a pretty standard process, first a recruiter screen, then a hiring manager screen. After that, I had another 1:1 with a PM, and then a final interview loop with stakeholders. I made it to the hiring manager round, and they said we'd move forward to the PM 1:1 after our chat. They also mentioned they'd always be available for feedback if we didn't move forward at any point. But then I got rejected a week later with no explanation, and they didn't reply when I asked for feedback.
