First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Northwestern Medicine.
Financial Analyst
First, I got an email to do a recorded video interview with questions already chosen. After that, I went in person for 3 interviews right after each other. The first was 30 mins with a manager whose team worked closely with the hiring team. The second was 60 mins with the hiring team's manager. The third was 60 mins with the hiring team's director.

The interview process was mostly behavioral. The first part was a video interview, and then I came in person for an in-person interview where I talked to 4 people total. It wasn't too difficult; there was a quick Excel case study to check how well I could manipulate data and present information. I'd also suggest preparing questions about the role and the company.
- What draws you to Northwestern Medicine?
- Could you provide an overview of your professional background and experience?
- What are your thoughts on Northwestern Medicine?
Financial Analyst
I got an email asking me to do a video interview. I did it, but then never heard back from NW. I followed up a few times, but they never responded. It's pretty bad that they couldn't even send a quick email back, especially since I put in a lot of time preparing. Now I get their spam emails about helping friends find jobs that I can't get rid of. I won't be applying to NW again.
- Can you share an example of a situation you've experienced?
