Program Coordinator
I started the interview process for the Program Coordinator, Academic Affairs position in August 2025. I was initially told there would be a single phone screen followed by two Zoom interviews with managers. However, the process ended up being four interviews spread out over almost two months. The communication was not consistent throughout, and in the end, I was rejected without any feedback. As someone who was already working there, I was really disappointed with how current employees are treated. The whole experience felt disorganized, discouraging, and a total waste of my time.
- What would your colleagues say about you if asked?
Administrative Coordinator
Recruiter moved very fast on this one; I had a brief 10-minute phone screen with them and then got called the next day to set up an in-person interview with the hiring manager. The in-person was about an hour long. The whole process took less than a week. The hiring manager wasn't the best interviewer, but they were easy to chat with.
- How would you handle a situation where someone dislikes you?
Administrative Coordinator
The interview process started with a virtual interview where I had to answer questions on screen, with 30 seconds to prep and then record my answer. About two weeks later, I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager and the person I would be replacing. They asked general interview questions, and then I got a tour and an explanation of the job duties. I sent a thank you email afterwards, but didn't hear back.
- How do you handle workplace conflict?
- What feedback would your current employer give you?
- Describe a time you had to handle an unhappy patient and explain your approach.
