So, I applied for an internship at Northvolt and honestly, lower your expectations when applying to this company and especially when dealing with HR. I had a first interview with 2 people from HR at Northvolt in Germany (one of them was also an intern). It was a normal, pleasant chat, and I thought it went well. They said I'd hear back within a week, but a week passed and nothing. I followed up, and still nothing. I followed up again two weeks later, and still nothing. Complete ghosting. Apparently, for an internship with Northvolt, you need to go through 3 stages of interviews. They mentioned my CV/cover letter looked good, I had a good interview, and a referral, but I felt overqualified for the position. Then, like, 4 months later, I got an automated rejection letter. I'm pretty sure this was sent to people who didn't even get to the interview stage.

it was quite long. They kept changing their minds about recruitment steps. In total there were 4 interview rounds including a case study. The Director of TA team at that time was very pushy and changed the assignment during the presentation a lot.
