Communications
The interview was very direct and to the point, with a lot of good questions relevant to the role. They asked about my previous experience and how I'd handle certain situations. It was a bit surprising that there was only one interview round. Overall, it was a positive experience.
- Could you share details about your previous work experience?
Teacher
It was a simple, single interview with the principal and vice principal. It took about thirty minutes. They asked very basic questions and reviewed my resume. The questions were about my certifications and what subjects I'd want to teach.
- What makes you want to teach?
- Can you tell me about your certifications?
- Which subjects are you interested in teaching?
Special Education Teacher
Applying was easy, and I did it online. Then I went to a job fair and gave my resume to principals who were still looking for someone. I had a one-on-one interview with a principal, and it was pretty average and not too difficult. She asked me some scenario-based questions and some questions specific to the type of special education room they needed to fill.
- What makes you a good candidate for this position?
- What is your approach to managing severe behavioral issues?
- How would you handle a situation related to the specific special education room we are hiring for?
Web Developer
I interviewed with three people and it seemed okay, but later I found out they interviewed over 50 candidates for more than 8 months. That's a lot of people to interview, so something must be wrong. It feels like taxpayer money is being wasted on this process. I guess they just wanted interview practice instead of hiring serious candidates.
