After applying in May, I had a phone screen with HR, then a remote interview with a department executive. This was followed by an in-person interview with two managers and a final in-person sample presentation to about 15 people. The whole process took about 4 rounds, with the last interview in mid-July. They were supposed to let me know their decision within 1-2 weeks, but they were really unprofessional and didn't communicate. I tried following up, and they ignored me until October, when they finally told me they hired someone internally. It was a waste of time and very unprofessional.

I applied online and a few weeks later was contacted for an HR interview. This was followed by an interview with the nurse manager of the floor I applied to. The HR interview was straightforward, but the manager interview lasted about 1.5 hours. She asked tough, unique questions I hadn't encountered before, which was appreciated, though some caught me off guard.

I applied online, the application was super long. The recruiter called me almost 12 minutes late for a quick phone screening. Then I was invited for an in-person interview. I didn't get confirmation until the day of the interview and the directions were so unclear I had to ask people walking by to find the right building. In the in-person interview, I met the Manager of Employee Relations. She said she was 'not empathetic' but expected others to be, which really turned me off. This doesn't seem like a good sign of a strong HR leader.

I interviewed with four managers who were also technical. This included a director, my direct manager, and two other managers from related IT departments. What was nice was they were open to someone with experience in a different ETL tool than what they use. I've worked with DataStage, and they use Informatica. One manager mentioned that learning the tool would be straightforward as long as the concepts are understood, which is refreshing.
